Position Overview:

Sankore Consulting  is seeking an energetic person to serve as a Project Assistant  in direct support of project development and execution. This individual should have keen organizational, analytical and innovative skills that foster organizational collaboration while achieving established organizational goals. The Project Assistant  will provide administrative and operational support and report to  Sankore Consulting’s principal consultants. A successful individual is mission-driven and flexible.


Position Duties

  • In this role the Project Assistant will perform administrative tasks like answering emails and phone calls, organizing calendars, scheduling appointments and maintaining online records.

  • The Project Assistant will also do data entry, report preparation and customer service.

  • Moreover the Project Assistant will use their time conducting online research, managing social media, creating content, customer service and doing digital marketing.

 Responsibilities Include:

  • Answer emails and phone calls from customers

  • Schedule appointments

  • Make cold calls to generate leads from a provided spreadsheet

  • Create content to post on the company's social media channels

  • Conduct online research to find address and contact details for a given list of companies

  • Prepare presentations and written materials according to instructions given

  • Research, assemble and summarize pertinent information from various sources based on general or specific instruction for the purpose of preparing proposals, presentations, trainings/workshops and evaluation reports

Skills and Qualifications

  • Some college/post secondary  experience required 

  • Familiarity with latest workplace technologies: Zoom, Google Apps etc.

  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word-processing programs

  • Excellent multitasking, time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision

  • Must have a PC and reliable Internet connection

  • Job Type: Part-time, Contract

  • Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

  • Hours: 10-15 hours per week 

COVID-19 considerations:
Due to COVID we are primarily working remotely. We have an office space in Brooklyn Park that we are currently using on an as needed basis. When in the office everyone must wear mask, sanitizer is provided.
